ICE BREAKER: the new brochures were discussed and distributed

One member shared that she has been on Humira for a year. She had a hip replacement surgery and somehow received a wrong diagnosis of cancer. She had to go to another doctor. It was a mess leading to her having to “fire” the doctor she had for years.
Members chime in their thoughts on that subject.
One member is noticeably thinner. Friends offer ideas of snacks and small meals that would offer either high calorie or good source of nutrition. Some ideas (milk shakes, ice cream, nuts, hummus, Greek yogurt, string cheese).
One member is going to the Tisch Symposium tomorrow where newest research in MS will be discussed, Richard Cohen will be there to discuss stem cell research.
One member contemplates acupuncture.
One member shares that Jon Bon Jovi has a restaurant in Red Bank that serves healthy food.
Bucket lists were discussed.
Food intolerances were discussed. Dairy, gluten, etc…
